1. Delivery Timeline

At CHAMA, we aim to deliver all orders within 14 days from the date of purchase.
Because each piece is made to order, shipments are not dispatched immediately after the order is placed.

In periods of high order volume, production and delivery may take a few additional days. In such cases, you will be able to see the estimated shipping time clearly displayed at checkout in the shipping section.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details so you can follow your parcel’s journey.


2. Shipping Method and Couriers

We ship worldwide using trusted international couriers such as DHL, FedEx, and UPS.
All shipments are made to the delivery address you provide at checkout.

All deliveries require a signature upon receipt. If no one is available at the delivery location, the courier will usually attempt redelivery or leave instructions for collection.


3. Risk of Loss and Responsibility

Once your order has been delivered to the provided address, risk of loss and title pass to you.
CHAMA is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage that occurs after the parcel has been marked as delivered.

We strongly recommend providing a secure and reliable delivery address, such as a workplace or other attended location.


4. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

For international orders, the customer is responsible for paying all applicable customs duties, import taxes, and fees, unless otherwise stated (except for the United Kingdom, where these charges are included in the price).

These duties and taxes are not included in our product prices and will be clearly stated on the product page and during checkout.

If a customer refuses to pay customs duties or import fees, the package will be returned to CHAMA.
Please note that no refund will be issued in such cases, as the costs of production, shipping, and customs handling cannot be recovered.

If you experience delays at customs, we recommend contacting your local customs office or courier service directly for assistance, as they will be best positioned to resolve the matter quickly.


5. Rush Orders

When a rush order is requested and accepted by CHAMA, the dress will be prioritized for faster production and shipment.
However, if a delay occurs due to unpaid customs duties or import taxes, CHAMA cannot be held responsible for missed delivery dates or event deadlines.


6. Fraud Prevention and Order Verification

To ensure the safety of all clients, CHAMA reserves the right to perform additional verification checks on orders that are flagged as potentially fraudulent.

If your order is selected for review, we may contact you to confirm payment details or request additional documentation.
It is your responsibility to remain responsive during this process — delays or failure to respond may result in your order being delayed or canceled.

If an order is deemed fraudulent due to the customer’s failure to verify their information, CHAMA reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a refund minus a 3.5% fee to cover non-refundable payment processing costs incurred on the transaction.
