CHAMA 7-Day Returns Policy

At CHAMA, we are committed to providing high-quality pieces and exceptional customer service. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return your item(s) within 7 days of receiving your order, under the following terms:

In this policy, “you” refers to the client or customer who has purchased a product from CHAMA, and “we” or “us” refers to CHAMA.


1. Eligibility for Returns

1.1. All items are eligible for return within 7 days of delivery (with few exceptions read below), provided they are in original condition — unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags and packaging intact.

1.2. Items must be free from any signs of wear, stains, or damage.

1.3. Both full-price and sale items are eligible for return.

1.4. Custom Measurements (Website Dresses) — Orders made with custom measurements for any dress available on our website are eligible for return under this policy. However, certain measurement ranges that are extra-large or significantly altered from standard sizing may not be eligible for a refund, as these pieces cannot be resold. Where this applies, we will clearly inform the client before the dress is shipped.

1.5. Custom Orders (Non-Website Designs) — Dresses that are not listed on our website and are made specifically to a client’s request (custom design orders) cannot be returned or refunded.
-This does not include dresses ordered with custom measurements from our existing collection as outlined in point 1.4.

1.6. Rush Orders — Orders requested for delivery within 10 days or less from the date of purchase are considered rush orders. These items are not eligible for return, as they are produced and prioritized specifically for your requested timeline. However, we do offer the option to exchange for a different size or adjust the existing piece, depending on the design and availability.


2. How to Return an Item

2.1. If you wish to return an item, please email us at info@bychama.com with the following details:

·         Your order number

·         The item(s) you wish to return

·         The reason for your return

2.2. Once we confirm your request, you will be responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping. You can choose one of the following options:

·         Option 1: You arrange the return shipment.
You may arrange the return directly with a courier service in your country (e.g., DHL, FedEx, UPS). You will pay the courier directly when shipping the package back to us.

·         Option 2: We arrange the return shipment for you.
If preferred, CHAMA can create and send a return shipping label. The following fees will be deducted from your refund:

o    $150 USD for one item

o    +$50 USD for each additional item included in the same return shipment

Important:
When we arrange the shipping, the original packaging must be used. Using a different or larger box may result in additional courier charges, which will be deducted from your refund.

It is essential that you inform us which return option you wish to use so we can send the appropriate shipping documents or labels.

2.3. Returns should be sent to the address we provide via email. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured postal service to ensure your parcel arrives safely.
Please note that CHAMA is not responsible for any loss, damage, or delay that occurs during transit for shipments arranged directly by the client. Responsibility for safe delivery remains with the client and their chosen courier.

2.4. The shipment must be initiated within the 7-day return period (not delivered), and you are responsible for maintaining communication during this time. Late returns will not be accepted.


3. Inspection and Approval

3.1. Once your return is received, we will inspect the item(s) to ensure they meet our return criteria.

3.2. You will be notified by email whether your return has been approved or declined.

3.3. If approved, a $30.00 handling fee will be deducted from your refund.


4. Refunds

4.1. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

4.2. Please allow up to 14 business days for the refund to be processed and appear on your bank statement. Processing times may vary by financial institution.

6. Changes to This Policy

CHAMA reserves the right to amend this Returns Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately.

By placing an order with CHAMA, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this 7-Day Returns Policy.
